Second Movie Chosen!

Thanks for all the votes folks!  The second film has been chosen!
We are going to be playing, first up in the line-up, "From Hell It Came"
This 1957 film is rated among the top worst movies of all time, though it should be said that, according to one star reviewer, "As walking-tree movies go, this is at the top of the list."
Clearly they haven't seen The Two Towers!

Feel free to move your votes off this movie to whatever you'd like the third movie to be!
Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

Feature Film Chosen!!

Attention Ladies & Gentlemen!  The feature film of the 15th Annual Raviolifest has been chosen!

Due to the fact that we're pretty damn sure we already saw dolls now, the founders have unanimously decided to veto "Dolls" as the feature film.  It may still play as a secondary film.

It's almost too bad because it would have made an extraordinary t-shirt.

Instead, we have decided to feature one of the worst movies ever made, according to ALL of the "best of the worst" posts we have ever seen.  I mean, seriously it inspired a very well known DOCUMENTARY called BEST WORST MOVIE.
We bring you, TROLL 2.

Second film will be chosen tomorrow.  Feel free to move your votes around to your next favorite choice.

Raviolifest 2014

It's that time of year again folks!  Raviolifest 2014, our 15th annual, is just 3 weeks away!  We hope you all can make it and bring delicious summer ales with you.

Joe Campo's father, (Mr. Joe Campo!) has unbelievably agreed to allow us to have Raviolifest at his home - and it's a PERFECT location for the event with beautiful spacious grounds.  Matt & I have envied it for Raviolifest since we were there.  More information on location (it's in Parma) to follow at a later time!

It is our intention to create a montage to our favorite Raviolifest Movies of all time - likely with terrible 80s music.

If you plan on coming, please help us create the event by LIKING your TOP 3 favorite movies on the facebook page and also suggesting as many terribly wonderful films as you can find. The 3 with the most likes will play at the festival.

Price of admission to Raviolifest (which starts about an hour before sundown) is one can of ravioli per person, or one large can per couple. Extra ravioli & doritos are (very) welcome. Feel free to invite anyone if you think this is their type of event but give us a heads up on the facebook page.

Price of admission to Summerfest is a 6 pack of summer themed beer! they happen at the same time, but Summerfest is for those that want to participate separately. Bring beer, take beer, and get a chance to sample a bunch of different summer beers. Bring more than 6 if you'll drink more than 6. Otherwise BYOB, maybe a cooler, your own comfy chair. and bug spray.

More to come!
