16th Annual Raviolifest: 2015

Listen up Raviolifesters!  We have a new location tomorrow for our event and We have Mr. Joe Campo (not that Joe campo!  his dad!) to thank for it!  With any luck this will become a new Raviolifest tradition.  Let's review the rules:  everybody has to bring a can of Ravioli.  A JAR of Ravioli would be ok, but fancy ravioli or home made will get you booted off the property.  If you're a couple one large jar is perfectly acceptable.  You want to bring your own chair, your own beer / wine / beverages.  There will be lots of food - if you consider canned ravioli & doritos food.  Also feel free to bring Doritos or other chips.  Yes we will have a crock pot for cheese ravioli (again... by the chef).  The only person who can bring whatever the hell they want to eat to Raviolifest is my sister Kim who got a Raviolifest tattoo.  That's the rule.  Behold its glory:

You should also consider bug spray.  We will bring some totally inadequate Tiki Torches with crap in them that's supposed to stop bugs but doesn't appear to do much of anything.

Also remember that SUMMERFEST takes place at the same time as Raviolifest.  That means bring your favorite summer beer (or fall / pumpkin beer at this point...) to share and we'll have a community cooler for sharing.  If you have a big group you may want to consider bringing your own cooler.
People can feel free to start arriving around 7pm.  We will start playing games around 7:30 and the first movie will start at sundown around 8:30pm.  The first movie to play will be by Vote!  It'll either be our last nominated movie Ice Cream Man or Death Bed, the bed that eats (trailers below).

The final movie has changed.  We, the monarchs of this sham democracy, have made an executive decision to NOT play Zardoz this year. Zardoz, it turns out, is two hours long, incredibly slow with the best joke being that Sean Connery is wearing a speedo.

We have decided to show the greatest cult classic, "the citizen Cain of bad movies" (entertainment weekly) that was shown monthly at the Cedar Lee similar to Rocky Horror for quite some time. A movie where "A significant portion of the film is dedicated to a series of unrelated and unresolved subplots involving the friends and family of the main characters" and that inspired the book "The disaster artist"
Yes folks, we are finally going to show The Room. Deal with it!
Here are your movies for the 16th Annual Raviolifest.  Let the banter begin.

The Room

Ice Cream Man

Finally T-Shirts this year will have one of two designs - a surprise if you will!  If interested the cost is $15 and you're probably too late to order so let Dan or Matt know directly.  Here are the designs.

See you all tomorrow!
